Surveyor-In-Training
- Prepare final plats, title surveys, easements, right-of-way dedications, etc.
- Prepare construction staking files (CSV's/RXL's) for field crews
- Perform office computations for boundary surveys, carry surveys to final completion
- Verify project managers have provided all necessary information with survey request prior to work being assigned to field crews
- Maintain filing system for completed surveys, field notes, and field books
- Provide ownership, utility, and other data research in support of survey projects
- Rile plats with governmental agencies and be responsible for meeting document requirements.
- Effective communication skills with all levels of employees within an organization
- Attention to detail & ability to efficiently resolve problems
- Proficiency in AutoCad Civil 3D is required
- Leadership abilities, eager to learn, and a positive "do whatever it takes" attitude

Accountant
Under the direction of the Director of Finance, and in accordance with established policies and procedures will perform
and/or supervise detailed financial analysis, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, general ledger, month-end
reporting, and additional duties as assigned.
- All aspects of the organization’s accounting and finance activities in accordance with established accounting principles,
and internal controls necessary for quality assurance. - Process and/or supervise processing of Accounts Payable.
- Process and/or supervise processing of Accounts Receivable.
- Perform detailed analysis and provide reports and financial statements, as necessary.
- Research and resolve accounting issues.
- Maintain General Ledger and the Chart of Accounts.
- Prepare and/or supervise preparation of Payroll.
- Monitor monthly accruals and prepaid expenses. Full month-end close responsibilities.
- Utilize information from Quickbooks and other office system to post monthly financial results for engineering/surveying
process. - Maintain Payroll and Vendor Master files.
- Preparation and filing of 1099s and 1096s.
- Initiate Payroll Tax Payments.
- Help prepare and file Quarterly and Annual Tax reports and W-2.
- Carries out other duties as assigned.
- Supervise small office staff.
- Accounting degree with 7 years’ experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Understanding of accounting fundamentals and principles.

Project Engineer/Design Manager
This person will be responsible for leading a range of engineering and design projects with both public and private clients. Individual will be responsible for managing projects and clients, developing new clients, managing workload of technical staff members, and assisting in the preparation of proposals.
- Superior civil engineering design and design oversight, including roads, site, drainage, water and wastewater systems
- Clearly define and facilitate project scope, goals and deliverables to clients and employees
- Accountable for the delivery of assigned projects from conception to completion
- Manage project budget, resource allocation, design, quality, timelines and team
- Ensure payment from your clients by getting billing submitted on time and following up based upon outstanding A/R reports
- Review all plans, specifications, and work product before submittal to the City and/or client
- Meet and exceed client expectations by ensuring accurate, complete and timely communication and work product
- Submit approved change orders before work on the project begins
- Oversee and manage a team of technicians, analysts, and professionals including mentoring and training the young engineers and engineers in training (EIT)
- Interface at the job site with the survey crew working on your project to ensure quality work
- Continue nurturing client relationships while contributing to new client business development efforts
- Has knowledge and continues to keep knowledge current as to commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within the industry
- Broad understanding of software including AutoCAD Civil 3D and Microsoft Office Applications

**Senior Project Manager - this person will have the same job responsibilities as a Project Manager but will have at least 10 years of experience as a Project Manager and performed this role at a superior level.
Engineer in Training (EIT)
To perform and coordinate engineering assignments designed to develop professional working knowledge, requiring the application of standard techniques, procedures, and criteria necessary to fulfill the experience requirement for licensure as a professional engineer.
Work under the supervision of a Professional Engineer and receive-on-the-job training in order to become a Professional Engineer.
- Work closely with Project Engineers to develop detailed designs, plans, specifications, reports, and cost estimates
- Provide comprehensive planning, design and engineering assistance for all phases of projects within budget and on time
- Regulatory requirements research (city and county development rules and restrictions)
- Site reconnaissance/field visits and prepare documentation
- Reviewing of maps, surveys, engineering plans, aerial images, etc.
- Perform necessary assistance for preparation of drainage, grading, roadway, utilities plan preparations, and more.
- Responding to review comments from City/County reviewers
- Working with design technicians and survey technicians to ensure accurate work product
- Review and check your work before submitting to the Project Manager
- Learn and develop skills in all aspects of design (grading, paving, drainage, water, wastewater, single family residential, commercial, street rehab)
- Must possess or be working towards obtaining the “Engineer-In-Training” certification
- Ability to develop communication, leadership and technical skills
- Must have a working knowledge and ability to perform computer tasks with AutoCAD and Civil 3D software
- Capable of independent and team work environments
